Below is my industry experience, game projects, audio reel, and musical compositions. I personally specialize in Gameplay, Audio, and Network programming, and have experience in audio design, music composition, and UI and Animation programming as well.
Work Experience
Contract Software Engineer at Lightmatter
Contracted to work at Lightmatter in Unreal 5 to develop a VR showcase for soon to be released computer hardware products from September 2024 to November 2024
Specialized in gameplay and VR engineering
Created post processing effect for highlighting selected objects in virtual space
Designed simple controls and smooth transitions between game states for an optimal and simple user experience
Ensured lighting performed efficiently on multiple types of VR headset by using Light Complexity maps and modifying Lumen settings
Provided clear documentation for proper set up and use of the program for technical and non-technical use.
Contract Gameplay Engineer at Neureal
Contracted to work at Neureal on several projects, including Tower Defense Simulator 2 on Fortnite from November 2023 to February 2024
Specialized in network and UI engineering
Worked for experienced industry professional in a fast-paced and highly iterative environment
Created a UI grid with a customizable number of elements, number of pages, and element layout per page
Learned a new programming language, by completing then shipping a game in 4 days
Software Engineering Intern at Striking Distance Studios
Worked at SDS on The Callisto Protocol from June 2022 to September 2022
Specialized in animation engineering
Worked with the animation team to develop a debugging tool that increased their productivity by over 150% through fast visual bug detection
Eliminated synchronized enemy animations
Implemented a system for designer-accessible, dynamically changing, Unreal Behavior Tree Blackboard variables
